Places in Africa Egypt

Egypt is very flat, with lots of deserts. In Cairo, which is the capital city of Egypt, you can find the pyramids. These were built for the Pharaohs (kings) of Egypt, thousands of years ago.

The Congo is surrounded by rainforest. There are lots of different animals and plants there.

Kenya

Kenya is in East Africa. It’s famous for safaris, where people travel through the plains to see the different animals and plants that live there. There are lots of wildlife reserves which are to protect endangered species.
