Contact Pathways Resource Center: EES ENGINEERING ENERGY & SOLAR The different fields of Engineering Aeronautical Biomedical Mechanical Chemical Civil Sustainability Design Electrical and Electronics Systems Biomechanical Photonics Computer software Computer hardware Nuclear Mineral Agricultural Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Engineers are shaping the future by applying their skills to almost everything you can think of, from medicine to renewable energy, food technologies to sustainable mining. The energy industry is the third largest industry in the United States. U.S. energy companies produce oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear power, renewable energy and fuels, as well as electricity, smart grid, and demand response technologies. There are now 174,000 solar workers in the U.S., more than a 20% increase over employment totals in 2013. These workers are employed at 6,100 businesses in every state. www.lasc.edu/socte/ Contact Pathways Resource Center: Call Now : 323-241-5475 Solar PV Manufacturing Jobs • Crop & Slab Engineer • Crystal Growing Engineer • Laser Operations Technician • Logistics Manager • Module Manufacturing Engineer • Production Planner/Scheduler • Quality Insurance Manager • Silicon Crystal Growers • Wire Technology Engineer Wind Power Development Jobs • Senior Buyer • Senior Property Agent • Senior Risk Management Analyst • Site Prospector • Site Supervisor • Wind Data Analyst • Wind Energy Forecasting and Resource Assessment • Wind Field Technician • Wind Plant Administrator • Wind Plant Monitoring Technician Smart Grid Technologies Jobs • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructures) • Electronic Test Technician • Energy Systems Controls Engineer • Field Service Engineering Technician • Manufacturing Supervisor • Power Electronics Engineer • Program Manager • Senior Software Engineer • Test Automation Engineer • Utility Program Manager
