Checking an earnings balance The May JobX update for 2017-18 has resulted in a number of new updates. The two most noticeable items for supervisor will be the updated navigation toolset and the ability to check a student’s remaining FWS balance. Please note that this data is based on payroll information and will always be at least 1 pay cycle behind the student’s actual earnings. Instructions on how to access this information are included on the next slide.

Checking an earnings balance To view a student’s remaining FWS balance: Log into the JobX site at https://unc.studentemployment.ngwebsolutions.com/Cmx_Content.aspx? cpId=6 Click the “On-Campus Employer” link on the main page Click the “Job Management Login” link Log in using your onyen when prompted to reach the Job Management Screen. Find the position of the student and click on the “App#” link Click on the student you are interested in under the “Name” column In the “Current Awards” box, you can find both the student’s FWS award amount and remaining balance for the academic year.
