H-PREP Throughout the H-PREP program, students are taught principles that are foundational to professional health science programs in Pharmacy, Osteopathic Medicine, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Research, and Public Health. Through inter-professional opportunities, students will be able to: participate in interactive and inter-disciplinary classes, seminars, and case studies; build relationships with leaders in the healthcare profession, to include community and rural practice; discover how to become more competitive applicants for health profession admissions; explore a variety of health profession career opportunities; and learn how to improve or strengthen professional admission test scores through a Kaplan PCAT, MCAT, or GRE review session. Professionalism workshops (time management, learning skills, competitive applicant, interviewing skills); One-on-one advising to evaluate your transcript(s), personal statement, review your resume/CV, and help you prepare your application; Professional dinners to include: Cultural Competency, Disaster Preparedness, Inter-Professional Case Studies, Medical Missions Opportunities; Service Projects Mentor Program

Students are exposed to all fields within CPHS and CUSOM and how the healthcare professionals work together. The knowledge, experience, and friendships gained during H-PREP is unmatched. The students created a Facebook group and keep in contact with each other and post where they are attending school for their professional program. They shared pictures throughout the week.
