Know it...about length! When we are measuring length, we are trying to figure out how long an object is. There are two systems of length that we use to determine length--- the Customary System and the Metric System.

Know appropriate measures for distances! Measure small objects using inches, such as erasers and books. If it’s as big as you are, use feet! If it is as big as your backyard, use yards! Miles measures the most distance.. You go far in your car!
