Background The background of the presentation should introduce the problem or topic, give a brief history of its origins and discuss its relevance to the discipline of computer science or the appropriate professional community. The background does not include a discussion of your contributions to the topic. Me and My Topic

Introduction In this section of your presentation you should describe the purpose and/or goals of your project with respect to the problem or topic as discussed in the Background. In the Introduction you are discussing WHAT was done. Do not include any discussion of HOW you implemented your solution or carried out your project. current state-of-the-art my contribution

Project - Experiment Description - Approach In this section of the presentation you should discuss the approach. Describe, in detail, HOW you accomplished the task(s) discussed in the Introduction. If an algorithm is involved, you should include sample code segments and/or a wiring diagram showing the logical flow of the essential portions of the program. Include a block diagram or other central figure providing an overview of the major components of your project. It is best to create this figure first and then write the text describing the details referenced in the figure. Be sure to discuss the arrows as well as the boxes. When discussing a program you should include the input/output requirements (e.g. data content and type) between major code modules. tre be prepared to discuss each module . . . as well as the interactions/comm interfaces between modules. whatever totally as-if fer shur zlint

Results or Status of Project In this section of your presentation, you should discuss the results you obtained from your project. Include in this section a discussion of your level of success in achieving your project goals. If appropriate you should include a description of the method of the analysis and/or the data-reduction you used. You should use graphics, tables and/or summary charts to help present your results.

Summary and Future Work You should provide an overview of your project effort describing how it fits into a larger plan of a major effort. If your project was to develop and implement a program, you should clearly indicate what part of this program was developed as a part of this effort and what will be implemented in future work. time passes current status plans for future development (what I got done) (what I planned to do)

Backup Slides Try to anticipate questions and prepare backup slides that can be used in answering them. These slides will provide some of the technical detail omitted from your presentation.
