Scroll bars missing in Results Query printing or faxing.

C2 $200 Horizontal and vertical scroll bars missing in fax area under Results Query. When in the Select Printer or Fax area in Results Query, there are no bars to scroll down or across. I have to highlight and drag to get around. How do I get the scroll bar back?

Right click and choose customize dialog -> then click in the area where the fax numbers are listed. A box will appear around the area. Shrink the box a little to get the scroll bar to show up again. Click on the "x" to close the printing box and you'll get a question asking if you want to save your customization. Click yes.

Troubleshooting Print Server Slowness C2 $400 Troubleshooting Print Server Slowness

Eleanor M. Savko 12/29/2017 C2 $400 To decrease the time interval that PrintWorker checks for new jobs that needs to be printed, decrease PS_MAX_DELAY_TIME for PrintWorker to 30 seconds. The default is 60 seconds. Users are noticing a delay in printing since go-live. Can you verify that the print jobs are evenly distributed between the two print servers or is one dominating?

In Print Admin Click on Worker Control > Worker Setup> located parameter (PS_MAX_DELAY_TIME), right click and make changes. Change to 30 Seconds

Restart each printworker after changing the param Restart each printworker after changing the param. Be sure to change it for PrintWorker and not PatPrint.

Is it possible to disable the ALL+ button in Remote Printing? C2 $500 Is it possible to disable the ALL+ button in Remote Printing?

Eleanor M. Savko 12/29/2017 C2 $500 The option to remove/disable the ALL+ button is not available. As an alternative, you may customize the location of the button but it is user/pc specific. Pathologists inadvertently faxed a report to all the fax numbers in Remote Printing by clicking on the ALL+ button on the Fax tab of the Select Printer or Fax screen. We would like to disable that functionality.

Right click . Custominization > Custom Dialog

Once the button you wish to select is properly highlighted right-click and drag the button to a different location.

To save your changes click on the [X] button in the top right-hand corner. A message window will pop-up for confirmation. Select "Yes."

Bookmarks with macro results are numbered. Eleanor M. Savko 12/29/2017 C3 $300 1: Check the MACRO_PRINT_TO1 Bookmark to make sure it isn’t missing? Bookmarks with macro results are numbered.   If the macro field is removed from the report - the count of macros bookmarks changes and bookmarks deleting does not work properly during remerging. Open Revised report > Insert > Book marks > Macro_Print_TO1

C3 $400 Print server keeps trying to perform an HISConv on a single case and it keeps getting rejected.

C3 $400 1: Checked the history of job and see error too long processing. 2: Checked the PatPrint file and it states that this jobs has taken too much time. 3: Setup > Document Files> Signature Setup Insert a space character before <Sign Out Dr. Signature> in Signature Setup.   4: From within the template place the cursor before <Sign Out Dr. Signature>.  Go to Tools/Options/ check Spaces and press the space bar.  This action will add a space character which appears as a "dot".  To correct the issue with this case, a revised report will need to be created and signed out so that the new signature template can be applied, then check to make sure that the revised report crossed the HIS.

Font changes on Path Report Header

Programmer determined that the report had 2 types of fonts: Eleanor M. Savko 12/29/2017 C3 $500 Programmer determined that the report had 2 types of  fonts:  Arial and Arial bold, but the Arial font was missing from the Print Server, therefore the entire report printed as Arial bold. To resolve this issue MS Word was reinstalled to the print server PC. Reports and worksheets are printed from the scheduler, but the font changes in the header sections of the documents. When we reprint manually the reports look correct. We have made no changes to our report setups. We tried different printers and all manual prints look correct.

User cannot perform Results Query from her PC

Renamed custom file to old_ custom as follows: Eleanor M. Savko 12/29/2017 C4 $100 Renamed custom file to old_ custom as follows: Right click on the application icon and go to properties. Choose Find Target Click on the Folder Icon (up) on the tool bar Choose the correct folder (example …LIVE, TEST, UPGRADE) Rename the custom file to OLD custom After this is done users need to log out of Soft Path and then log back in. ***Note this will take out all the customizations for all users.*** User cannot look up reports in Results Query from her PC. She can from other PCs. When she attempts this from her PC, she is taken back completely out of SoftPath and has to log back in.

Task description is ambiguous. Example: PC crashes?

C4 $300 Error message: "Pathology system not installed properly on this computer. Contact your system administrator. "

C4 $300 The above message appeared for a user when she tried to bridge from Lab to Path using the icon in the toolbar. Both SoftPath and SoftLab seem to be working properly, and the user can bridge from SoftPath to SoftLab without an error.

SoftLab was uninstalled and reinstalled. Cause: The SoftLab registry key "SOFTWARE\SoftComputer\SoftLab\4.0\Common\Bridges\GUI\SoftPath\LabMenu" was missing from the affected workstation. SoftLab was uninstalled and reinstalled.

Credit Missing from Billing Report

C4 $400 Cause: Review of the billing report showed that billing had been run using the setting "Billed and Not Billed Items". This included the sent charges of  x 2 and the pending credit of -1, resulting in net billing of one charge. Resolution/Alternative Solution: When running manual billing reports in this situation, the setting should always be "Not Billed Items".

Some Pending Charges Not Qualifying for Scheduler Run. Issue: A few cases have some pending charges and credits. If you run a billing report manually they qualify, but they don't qualify for billing run from the scheduler.

C4 $500 Cause: The qualification parameter for Signed/Not Signed must be set for Part A and part B for the part B scheduler jobs because the system is expecting two characters for billing Part B to properly recognize the qualification parameters.

The qualification parameter was set for both Part A and Part B billing: Additional Information: This parameter needs to be set for both billing parts even if the scheduler routine is set up to qualify only Part A or Part B billing.
