Young Women in the Know Week long course Developed to change outdated perceptions of engineering and encourage more young women to consider engineering and manufacturing careers Aimed at Year 10 and Year 11 Opportunity to visit departments, meet female staff includes placement Developing for Year 8/9 and Year5/6
Jaguar Maths in Motion Challenge Largest and most successful maths challenge of its kind in the UK. More than one million young people have participated in the programme since its launch in 2000. Annual competition Ages 9 and up Engages students in an exciting and motivating maths based project working in team to design and race virtual cars
Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Technology Challenge Annual competition for 14-18year olds Challenge to design and build a radio-controlled, four wheel drive vehicle Jaguar Land Rover provides guidance and support throughout the process by assigning graduates to each organisation. 2015 saw the first World Finals
Jaguar Primary School Challenge Launched in 2011 aimed at ages 5-11 Involves designing and manufacturing the fastest possible car in either 2D or 3D. The designs are printed and assembled Secondary schools can become hubs to their feeder primaries
Education Business Partnership Centre 5 EBPCs within Jaguar Land Rover sites Provide activities for ages 5 -18+ Menu of half day and full day activities for students 21,500 young people and 2,300 teachers visited our centres in 2013
EMC- Engine Manufacturing Centre First of its kind for a generation Opened by Her Majesty the Queen October 2014 £500 million facility 100,000 square metres = 11 football pitches Home to the ‘Ingenium’ engine family When at full capacity will employ 1,400 people
