YOUNG AND EDUCATED YET STILL UNEMPLOYED YOUNG AND EDUCATED YET STILL UNEMPLOYED?  What should companies and young people do in order to lower youth unemployment Project by Andra Zlotu, Romania For &

Money is the answear?! A lot of us would think that the emoployees stay more in companies if they have more money. But what about productivity? Will they be more active if they are well paid? I think the productivity comes from the people you sorround yourself with and the place you spend your whole time. All photos from:images.google.com

1.How can companies have happy employees in happy places?! Google, one of the most successful companies in the world boosted its employees productivity at 37% more by having another type of offices.

How can companies have happy employees in happy places?! Everyone would like to work in a Google office, right?! We can do it in Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, too . The company can start by asking the employess what they would change in their area of working.

How can companies have happy employees in happy places?! I think everyone works in nice offices would stay in the company more. WHY? Because they are feeling more comfortable, they smile when they are sorrounded by things they like and everyone wants to have time for what he/she likes. If the company thinks that they can’t invest in nicer offices, how can we explain the Google boosting by using this method?!

2.Give prizes for being the best As you said: “they are changing their job every two years, it is also very risky for a company to invest into their development. “. I think it’s not that risky if we invest in growing the company. The company can start a developing program at every three months. The development means the problems that the employees find a solution to and they get awarded for.

Who is the winner? The winners are chosen based on the result of their ideas. Someone that helps the company to grow, to find a new product will win this prize. Example for departaments: Advise, Transform and Manage-the winner is someone succeded to boost a lot a business and found new ideas to do it. IT Support Services-the winner is that who found out a new program for the security of customers. Financing and Flexible Capacity-the winner is someone found a new way of development. Education and Training Services-the winner is that who found out a new way of training that inovate the art of thinking of the employees.

What’s the prize? Everyone loves travelling, but not everyone have money to do that. That’s why, the prize for every departament winner is a city break. WHY? –it helps your employees to relax, socialize and travel; -the winners can also have nonformal training sessions in the morning; -it is costless (a citybreak in Rome is 100€ and 250€ for Barcelona) and it brings you employees for life because everyone will fight for the prize and will bring brilliant ideas for your company.

Everyone will bring your company higher if he/she gets a holiday free from you.

3.The company thinks of you, the young employee, makes you feel you matter. This idea is based on socializing through the employees. As we can notice, the social media is growing every day. We must socialize in real life. That’s why, the company can organise meetings. The young employees will take a breath, they will get inspired by anothers’ stories and impressions from the city breaks, they will grow and find a vision in this company.

Ideas of meetings on Sundays (costless for company) 1.RIDING BIKE day: the company thinks of a route, the employees meet with the organiser and have fun; 2.OUTING day: the organiser finds a park to have a picnic in and the employees start to act like friends; 3.RIDING HORSES day: the employees have free access to riding horses lessons in group. This activity will help they be fearless, more powerful, to relax and socialize, too. 4.MOVIE evening: organise a group, watch a movie, have fun, socialize 

4.Employee, we care of your children We all know that young employees have little children and it’s a problem especially, when they must go home in the afternoon. I have a solution! The company can organise something like a kindergarden or, at least, a playground. For bigger children, you can have an afterschool program.

Employee, we care of your children The way to a children’s center: -we can say, in company, there are at least 15 employees’ children and they need a center and a schoolbus to come there. 1.it’s not expensive to give a job to a student that can care of the little ones 2.At least, in Romania, we have aftetschool classes. Children do their homework there, they are also with a teacher (you can pay for one, but, sure, the employee-parents will stay in the company for a long time because it cares of the their children).

After the application process of my ideas, young employees will think… company is like a good friend, not a place where the boss causes terror; the office is a comfortable place to stay and to be happy spending time there; this is the company that can make their dreams come true, because they are sorrounded by happiness; they have money for nice holidays all around the world; they can socialize, make friends and learn from the best; the company cares of their children.
