The special verb be does not show an action The special verb be does not show an action. it tells someone or is or is like

5 sentences I am sometimes lazy. I was hyper today! I am the eye of the tiger. I was a sunflower in the play. I am an angel from heaven.

Use is or what with singular nouns and he, she, or it He was very sad today =( She was trying to fly like a bird. It was CRAZY!! He is going to the park to play football. She is playing on the swings.

Use are or were with plural nouns and we,you,or they Were from Barcelona! Where are you from? They were from France. Were from china the twins said. They speak Chinese it was cool!
