Philadelphia has a rich history As the most important city in colonial America, Philadelphia has a rich history. The declaration of Independence was signed in the city's state house, now the Independence Hall. Other significant events like the signing of the US Constitution and the creation of a national flag also took place in Philadelphia. Washington Statue at Eakins Oval

The Independence Hall The Independence Hall is one of the most important historical landmarks in the United States. Major steps towards independence were taken here by delegates of the English colonies, amongst them George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. Independence Hall
