Stakeholders Mentees Mentors Parents and Caregivers Others – sponsors/partners The goals of the mentorship program for the various stakeholders include: Mentees – Accelerated personal development and assimilation of enduring values that form the foundation of success. Mentors – To create an avenue for mentors to have meaningful impact in the community through opportunity for life coaching while capturing value through personal and professional development. Parents – Investment in development of their wards and engagement in a feedback loop. Others – Provision of visibility and resources for MentorMatchMe program through strategic partnerships.
Code of Conduct Section 1: Ethical Principles Section 2: Values Accountability Section 4: Standard of Conduct Section 5: Standard of Practice Section 6: Conflict Resolution Actions Section 1: Ethical Principles - Mentors and mentees shall interact and engage in a cordial, professional, and respectful manner at all times. Section 2: Values - Trustworthiness; Confidentiality; Mutual respect; Compassion; Unprejudiced interaction. Section 3: Accountability - Mentors and mentees shall take full responsibilities for their actions during mentor/mentee interactions at all times. - Mentors, mentees, and other stakeholders shall avoid conflicts of interest that may derail the mentorship program at all times. Section 4: Standard of Conduct - Mentors, mentees, and stakeholders shall abide by the codes of conduct at all times. - Mentors and mentees shall maintain confidentiality of all mentor/mentee interactions at all time except agreed upon by both parties (mentor and mentee) to involve a third party. Section 5: Standard of Practice - Mentors, mentees, and stakeholders shall uphold the vision and mission of the mentorship program at all times. Section 6: Conflict Resolution Actions - Mentors, mentees, and stakeholders shall be recused from the mentorship program following self-reported or discovered conflicts of interest concerning mentor/mentee interactions. - Complaints about mentor/mentee interactions brought forward by either mentor or mentee shall be duly investigated and if necessary, conflict resolution action(s) deemed appropriate by an ad-hoc conflict resolution committee shall be implemented.
