New Graduate Major: “Master of Adapted Physical Education” merges: MS in Kinesiology, focused on Physical Education Teacher Education, with MS in Kinesiology in the Adapted Physical Activity concentration + Improve efficiency in curriculum delivery + Meet the needs of public schools + Hit our strengths and provide a unique professional degree “Improving human health and wellness”
New Graduate Major: “Master of Adapted Physical Education” Coursework: (65 credit hours; 14 months – summer to summer) mainly KIN classes (including internships), with ED and H non-thesis on-campus in Corvallis 12-15 students/cohort accredited Faculty / Program Administration: Program will be delivered by existing faculty (4 plus an instructor); no additional courses, equipment, facilities and/or technology are required. Anticipated Start: Summer 2017
New Graduate Major: “Master of Adapted Physical Education” Letter of Support/Liaison: California State University - Chico. Accreditation: Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), currently through 2022 CC Review and Vote: CC has reviewed and has unanimously voted to approve the program (February 28, 2017).
