Jesus’ Twelve disciples Peter; James and John; Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, Alphaeus’ son; Thaddaeus; Simon the Cananaean; and Judas Iscariot They were called by Jesus Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus They were to tell people about God and encourage people to believe

Jesus Blesses Children Children were brought by their parents to be blessed by Jesus but the disciples told them no Jesus saw this and got mad at his disciples He blessed and hugged all the children that were brought to him

Jesus Is Crucified Pilate had soldiers dress Jesus in a purple robe and twist together a crown of thorns for him to wear on his head The soldiers struck jesus in the head with a stick over and over then spit on him They took Jesus to Golgotha and crucified him at nine People came to laugh and make fun of him The next day Jesus let out a loud cry and died

Jesus Resurrected The day after Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Mary the Mother of James, and Salome were bringing spices to anoint Jesus’ dead body when the stone was no longer in front of the entrance A young man in a white robe told the ladies that Jesus rose and wasn’t there He told them to go tell the disciples to go to Galilee
