GOD WANTS TO SPEAK TO YOU! HE THINKS ABOUT YOU!

GOD WANTS TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. Ps 33:6 NKJV For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Ps 33:9 NKJV

THIS IS HOW MUCH GOD WANTS TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Ro 5:6-11 NKJV

EXAMINE THE DEPTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Is every moment you spend with Jesus exhilarating? Does worshipping Him, reading the Word and praying to Him bring irrepressible joy? Do you get up in the morning and eagerly want to spend time with Jesus? Are you like a sponge soaking up eternal truths found on every page? OR Do you need to return to your first love? Rev 2:4 NKJV

EXAMINE THE DEPTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Christianity is a two-way relationship between God and His people. Are you enjoying a dynamic, vibrant relationship with God? OR Are you struggling with complacency?

EXAMINE THE DEPTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear [to hear] them now.” Jn 16:12 AMP Bear = spiritual truths not able to be tolerated, accepted, endured, shouldered, carried Why did Jesus stop?

EXAMINE THE DEPTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s Word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. Heb 5:12-14 NLT Are you still immature?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GO DEEPER WITH GOD? Spend time with God in the Word and prayer Write down what God is saying Don’t believe lies Ask God to reveal and remove the things that hinder your readiness to receive His truths Walk faithfully with God and obey what He tells you God’s intention is that you continue to mature spiritually as you daily get to know Him better

A WONDERFUL PROMISE FROM THE LORD Jesus spoke these words about Holy Spirit, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” Jn 16:13 NKJV

LET’S GET PERSONAL ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jer 33:3 NKJV Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. 1 Sam 2:35 NKJV

GOD THINKS ABOUT YOU! For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jer 29:11 NKJV For innumerable evils have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; Therefore my heart fails me. Ps 40:12 NKJV Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. Ps 40:5 NKJV

God has more to say to you…do you want to hear it? ask yourself, when was the last time Holy Spirit took you to a new level of understanding of God’s Word when was the last time you came out of your time with God so excited about what He said to you that you could hardly wait to tell someone when was the last time others were deeply imparted by something God said to you? are you satisfied with your spiritual condition? do you care if you hear more of God’s thoughts about you, your life, family, world?

TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jn 8:32 NKJV God’s word never returns to Him without accomplishing His purposes “The rain and snow come down from the heavens     and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow,     producing seed for the farmer     and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My word.     I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to,     and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isa 55:11-12 NLT
