Way Forward Merchants and kirana shops to be encouraged for use of PoS All banks to issue rupay cards to every account holder All bank accounts to be seeded with aadhaar and mapped to NPCI Mobile based (Smart phones): a)All Govt offices to have virtual id for using UPI b) encourage use of smart phones by citizens Mobile based (Feature phones): USSD with Aadhaar based security feature
Way Forward PoS in all govt touchpoints (BC or merchant) PoS is workable with RuPay card and biometrics devices. Essentially we can use RuPay card or Aadhar based biometric authentication to do transactions 29,000 e-PoS machines available with Fair Price shops can be converted into Business Correspondents (BC). All MeeSeva kiosks can be converted into PoS Additional BC can be appointed (Self-Help Group)
