Steps to washing your hands Wet hands with warm water Apply soap Rub for 20 seconds Rinse Dry with a paper towel Use towel to turn off faucet

Before/After Wash your hands before you: Wash your hands after you: Touch or serve food Eat or drink Treat a cut Treat someone that is sick Wash your hands after you: Go to the bathroom Handle uncooked foods especially raw meat, fish, or eggs
