Tips for running Classroom Trivia The game is set-up to run as teams. If you don’t want show scoreboards, delete the scoreboard hyperlinks off the trivia board and hide the final scoreboard slide. If you want to include scoreboards that show top 5 individual scores, unhide the two individual scoreboards at the end of the presentation and add hyperlinks to the trivia board. The polling slides are pre-built, so you just need to enter your text. The same goes for the team assignment slide. Please don’t add or remove any slides in order to maintain the pre-built hyperlinks on the trivia board. If you need to add anything, add them after the final slide and add corresponding hyperlinks. Feel free to add photos or text to any of the question title slides. To quickly replace the category titles, use the Replace function (found under the editing tab or box on the Home ribbon, depending on your version of PowerPoint.) Just make sure to include a space between “Category” and the letter when you enter the text to find. By default, the scores for each question are 100 times whatever grade level the question is (i.e. – the 3rd grade questions are worth 300 points). Feel free to change the point values.
