Coding in Dementia

Findings from an audit of drugs for Dementia using Eclipse Total = 635 Patients on drugs for dementia* Out of which, 37 Patients had no codes relating to Dementia 358 Patients are coded using the non-preferred codes (therefore the QOF Register will not automatically populate) Therefore, only 236 patients are coded with the NHS England preferred code *This number is an underestimate as not all practices are up to date with uploading Eclipse and some patients have not agreed for their data to be shared.
