Parking Management models a) Involving private operators Concession Service Provider City may collect a “concession fee” on advance and deliver the parking business. City collects the parking revenue and pay for the operation as a service. Rules are settled by the concession contract with less flexibility to change. Politic decisions stay on public side. City management set the parking rules. b) Public / Municipal operations Public company Municipality Specific and dedicated public company to manage parking under City orientations. Complete control of parking activity by the City and Transport department Transfer the profit to Municipality or to improove parking conditions. All the costs and profits of parking are integrated in the City budget
