9/11 Memorial Pool The memorial is located at the site of the World Trade Center in New York City. There are two pools with flowing waterfalls that are each an acre in size. Pentagon Memorial Right outside the Pentagon, there are 184 benches to honor the men and women who lost their lives when an airplane struck the Pentagon on September 11th. Trinity Root The Trinity Root Memorial is a bronze cast of a sycamore tree that stood beside Trinity Church.
