Specialist Computer Science staff drill methods and demonstrate how to apply these to solve exam-style problems. BBC Bitesize for Key Stage Three has some useful videos Top Tips Use index cards to summarise each topic, then use Read, Cover, Write, Check to see how much you remember. Create and share revision word searches on the technical terms you should know. Choose an element that you find difficult and teach it to a member of your family. Answer all of their questions – using your notes if you need to at the start. Use post-its to stick components onto the correct places on an image of a computer. Create ‘flashcards’ which have definitions on one side, and the technical words on the other. You could also make a domino set like this using a program like Tarsia. Revising something like binary? Make an abacus that follows the rules and use it to answer practice questions
