Basics Cost is approx. $3,600- for land and airline tickets Land only package will be above minus air fare---air fare budgeted at $1,500 What is included- Hotel, Guides, Bus, Breakfast, Dinner, all playing fees- refs, field rental, local medical etc Excursions and lunch not included

Phones/Electronics Spend a relatively small amount to get the international plan or keep your phone turned off while over seas. Roaming fees can kill you. $26 for Sprint for earlier trip Call your provider and understand your data plan before leaving. Italy requires converters for charging. Electronics charge very slowly. Webber – for boys trip – added contract fee was $26 for the international plan and you took very little calls and no texts

Agenda for Players Arrive at Indianapolis International Airport 3 hours prior to departure. Passport Plan – I will collect all passports from players traveling alone. Parents traveling with children can handle or I can. I will distribute at check in counter, security and customs to players. I will collect after each spot and hold onto.

Agenda for Players con’t We will meet at breakfast each day to go through plans. Coaches will wake up all those traveling alone. Hotel check in will be 11pm each night . There will be free time to tour areas .

Agenda for Players con’t Players travel in training top to all locations Alcohol consumption is forbidden – regardless of local laws. If you violate this rule you will be sent home and your parents will be billed for the cost. Hotels are intolerant of poor behavior.

Agenda for Players con’t Spending Money Plan on $200 for food (lunch everyday plus snacks) $20 a day for excursions Credit card/debit card is by far the best value Cash is required for excursions

Agenda for Players con’t Pack Home uniform kit Away uniform kit Training kits – multiple if you have them Running shoes Write your name on the tag of all your soccer clothes – we will do laundry at tournament (small mesh laundry bag helps) Bring at least 4 plastic bags (CVS/Marsh) for wet cleats, clothes, shin guards, muddy items, etc.

Agenda for Players con’t Bring a bag on wheels – each person will be responsible for their own bags. Recommended – 1 suitcase on wheels and 1 backpack Comfortable shoes for walking Sun block

Agenda for Players con’t Weather Italy is expected to be: HIGH 85-91 degrees depending on where LOW 65 degrees Shorts are good Some churches on tours require covered knees and shoulders.

Agenda for Players con’t Ditty bag Shampoo/soap/deodorant Toothpaste and toothbrush Personal hygiene items Plastic bags for dirty gear – air freshener! Note – hair dryers don’t work real well in Europe Prescriptions and medications, including glasses/contact lens and solution. Cold medicine, pain medicine and cough drops are a good idea to bring along.
