Button Key Image Settings Cut Load Select pictures, text, icons, and other elements to include in your project. Adjust variety of settings for your project. Cut Load Control cut settings (pressure, speed, etc.) and cut your project. Load and unload the mat in preparation for cutting your project.

Settings: Button Key Art Quantity Project Quantity Fit to Page Repeat all images in your queue and minimize the amount of paper used. Repeat the entire project for repeated cuts of the whole project. Fit to Page Auto Fill Change the size of the images in the project to fit the entire page. Repeat the project until the page is full. Art Quantity Need several of each part of your project and want to fill up all the empty space on a page Window will pop up with art quantity controls Change the number of time images are repeated by pressing increase and decrease value buttons, then save Project Quantity Same increase and decrease value buttons, then save Using this feature, you will be prompted after each project before continuing with the next A project can only be cut a maximum of 9 times Fit to page/Fit to length Select horizontal size of finished project Change the length using the increase and decrease buttons, then save Good for using the background of your cuts Auto Fill Similar to art quantity feature Instead of choosing a specific number of times to repeat all the project art, it repeats the contents of your whole project until the page is full To go back to the original, just press the auto fill button again Paper Size Use increase or decrease buttons for wider or narrower paper, then save Mat Size Change the mat size between 12” x 12” and 12” x 24” (in either landscape or portrait), then save Mat Size Paper Size Display the current mat size being used in your project. Choose custom paper size for your project.

Cut Settings Cut Speed Cut Pressure Multi-cut How fast the blade moves Adjusting cutting speed For simple shapes, increase the cutting speed For detailed cuts or lightweight materials, decrease the cutting speed (or if your cuts are being torn) Try testing with a scrap piece of paper, readjust as necessary Change the value by using the increase and decrease buttons, then save Adjusting cut pressure For heavyweight materials, increase cutting pressure For lightweight materials, decrease cutting pressure Multi-cut Cut a project up to nine times Allows machine to cut thicker materials (thin chipboard) Set your blade depth to 6 for optimum cuts How fast the blade moves when it performs cuts How hard the mechanism Presses against the paper For cutting through thick materials (ex: chipboard)

Adhesive Mats Remove the protective layer from the adhesive Cricut mat and place your paper right up to the edge of the light green grid pattern.

Adhesive Mats Hold the adhesive Cricut mat with your paper stuck to it up to paper loading rollers and press the loading button. Put just the tiniest bit of pressure on the loading rollers and they will load your mat successfully.

Complete your Cut Cut your shape by pressing the cut button.
