We offer this range of products because they are very trend at the moment and the sales are there. GREEN CHOICE Pre-oiled UV floors are finished with natural renewable oil, an environmentally friendly choice. This process allows the wood to breathe and is popular because it is simple to maintain and repair . Pre-oiled flooring also enhances the grain of the wood , conferring a matt , rustic appearance. It is always necessary to remember that the wood is a living material which reacts to the environment, it is essential to maintain well the relative humidity ideally between 37 and 45 % in the space of installation. Furthermore, the strips selected for Home Depôt are in 3 ¼, 5 ¼ and 7 inches wide where the importance to check well the environment because wider are the strips, wider is the movement which is more visible. Products offered at Home Depôt are certified FSC when the material is available. Besides, of a beautiful appearance, it’s an ecological choice … and easy of maintenance.

We have prepared a chart to compare prefinished and pre-oiled floors which can serve you in the future. Points to keep in mind for the oiled floors are the following ones: the oil protects the wood strips and it highlights the grain or the lines of the wood. The biggest advantage it is its easy to repair, a simple coat of oil allows to regain its initial look. Furthermore, you probably noticed how the designers, the decorators, architects integrate more and more wooden products into decorations and the consumers are influenced by these people, what returns to easier sale.

Voluntarily, we produce the strips with differences of heights, knots are not filled, there are wooden lacks in the micro bevel. We can find of some porosity and undulation on the surface of the strips, cracks, bars marks. In fact mainly everything is accepted for this grade. This product addresses mainly to consumers who like all the characteristics or the imperfections which we can find in the wood. * Irrespective of size, if not a loose knot. The characteristics of the product ARIA are: Unsound mineral streaks minimized artificially Unsound knots minimized artificially Micro-cracks Other distinctions: Checks | Sound knots GRADE HERITAGE: This one explains mainly the characteristics which can be founds on the Aria strips. We wanted in this range to offer one product with a lot of natural characters. The knots are filled with a sealer in order to obtain a much smoother flooring.

The characteristics of the product HALO-CHASTE AND EGO are: This grade, where almost anything goes, comes in large widths for that sought-after look. After a while, the cracks may expand and cause the floor to creak, creating an atmosphere and feel of times gone by.

Maintenance products Touch-up kit Contains: 1 wax stick pencil, 1 bottle of oil and 1 bottle of impregnating oil. Cleaner Regenerator Finishing kit for Aria & Finishing kit for Iceberg Finishing kit for Halo & Finishing kit for Chaste & Ego.

I placed this slide because it is the instructions which we find in the touch-up kit. I would like pass in review the stages with you because we have many questions on this matter. 1 . As you can notice it is rather simple. MAINTENANCE GUIDE PRE-OILED FLOOR Compared to less expensive flooring or products that are easier to install, wood is unequalled in terms of durability. Dollar for dollar, no floor covering is as aesthetically pleasing, as versatile or as easy to maintain as wood. Titan maintenance products are especially designed to clean and preserve your wood flooring. Titan products are easy to use and quickly clean all kinds of wood flooring. They contain no abrasives and leave no residue or film after use. Maintenance Dust may be removed using a vacuum cleaner, dry cloth or soft broom. Use of the following products is mandatory because they are specially designed and made for pre-oiled Titan flooring. Use of commercial detergents or other products will damage your floor. Regular maintenance Chaste, Ego, Halo 1. Vacuum or sweep floor to remove dust and sand. 2. Mop the floor with a clean, well wrung, slightly damp mop. 3. Allow to dry. Aria, Iceberg 2. Spray cleaner on the floor and spread evenly in thin coats using a flat, microfiber mop. Maintenance as required (monthly) 2. Spray the regenerator for stains Aria, Iceberg, Chaste, Ego and Halo on the floor. Spread evenly in thin coats using a flat, microfiber mop. Take note the product Docile is as all the other skus Titan supplied in the past so your recommandations stay the same. It’s important to use the products that we recommend.
