LOCATION OF PROJECT Within Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe on the left side as you drive out of the Airport going to Lilongwe(Capital City) of Malawi. ENVIROMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR PROJECT Airport Developments Limited (ADL) already conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Project and a report was issued.
TYPE OF INVESTMENT/ ADL INVOLVEMENT ADL is a 100% Government owned parastatal but registered as a private limited company under the Companies Act. It is inviting interested investors to invest in the Project on a Public Private Partnership(PPP) arrangement. ADL expects in return to enter in a concession arrangement and share with investor at a rate to be agreed. On the Houses a structured share of rental income or on sale proceeds can be agreed with investor, according to Proposals put forward Length of PPP arrangement open for discussion, with involvement with ADL, Investor, Malawi Investment Trade Centre (MITC) and the Malawi Public Private Partnership Commission and dependent on level of investment
