OUR READING ROOM FREE ACCESS TO BOOKS

General information Before you use the Reading Room: Leave your overcoat in the cloakroom; Leave your rucksack/bag on the rack at the entrance, and your instrument in front of the counter; Leave your badge or any other ID with the Librarian on duty; Enter your name and surname in the Readers’ Book; Report to the Librarian all your books and journals/magazines that you bring with you to the Reading Room. Remember that the Reading Room is a place of work – we ask you to remain silent and not to use your mobile phone. Food and beverages are not allowed.

Computers and access to the Internet Our computers may be used for browsing the Library catalogues and for other scientific and educational purposes. In the Library, the FCUM students and staff UMFC have access to Wi-Fi. You need to get registered before you use it for the first time.

Free access The Reading Room offers free access to its books, i.e. you can take the books from and put them back on the shelves by yourself. It is not allowed to take the books out of the Reading Room without informing the Librarian about it and without obtaining his/her permission to do so.

Organisational system The Reading Room is divided into sections. Numbers and names of the sections may be found at the entrance to the Reading Room (on the left).

The books are placed on the bookshelves of the respective sections in the order presented in the picture.

The bookshelves are marked with numbers and names of the respective sections.
