COMPANY PROFILE HISTORY GMT was established in 1989 and was initially, in the business of machine tools for the first 10 years. In the year 1998, we started manufacturing automotive and oil engine components. Gradually, we became a manufacturer and Supplier of fully finished machined Components. Five years back, we did backward integration and got into foundry. We have our centralized group foundry, where we are producing around 500 metric tons of all types of S.G. Iron grades and 200 tones of cast Iron. Thus, we now have a complete solution after gaining control over raw material. Presently, we are supplying Cam follower lever assemblies , rocker levers , gear case cover, precision fuel injection system components, flywheels, flywheel housings, etc. with most of the castings being procured from out group foundry.

Our customers Both automotive and non-automotive OEMs, looking for machined castings would be our buyers. Those looking for precisely machined components of various materials like cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, aluminium etc. Those looking for supply in high volumes with the use of advanced automated systems like robots as we have a robotic line installed with a robot interfaced with machining centers and other processes like deburring, leak testing etc. also automated. Those looking to buy direct assemblies or sub-assemblies of certain parts as we provide complete solution. Those looking for machining of batch quantity as well.

Our Strengths We have a rich experience of more than 75 years as our current leadership is now the third generation to get into engineering industry, and a skilled staff with a total work force of 200 in machine shop and 200 in foundry. We manufacture a variety of components in excess of 100, weighing from 2 kilos to 200 kilos and have specialized in certain families of components like flywheels, flywheel housings, rocker housings, manifolds, brackets, adaptors, pulleys, shafts, gear cases, sumps, valves, levers, Impellers, Impeller cases, head plates, rocker arms, cam follower housings and it’s assembly. Apart from the above components, we have a very capable team which is flexible and enthusiastic to undertake the development of new components with ‘do right first time’ policy. We have an advanced machining setup which includes vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, CNC turning centers, vertical turning milling, vertical turning lathes and advanced inspection facilities which include CNC CMM, Contracer , millipore.

This is a flywheel housing which has a diameter of 1120 mm and weighs about 185 kgs.

These are stators, used in compressors.

Key features Location We are located in west Maharashtra, India, about 250 kms. away from Pune and 400 kms. away from Mumbai ( closest port). All our facilities are located close to each other and in industrial estates which have a non-interrupted power supply and all needed facilities at disposal. Pricing We have been extremely competitive with our prices and have managed to keep selling our products at the same price for the last 15 years by continual application of sheer engineering. Safety Safety is the foremost in our company and we ensure that all the safety practices are rigorously followed by all at our work place. We have very stringent safety norms and those not abiding by it are not allowed to work in our company.

Vision We have grown both horizontally and vertically over the years and are keen on adding new businesses in our hub whenever an opportunity arises. We have an annual revenue of 7.5 million $ presently and are targeting 15 million $ by 2020 and we are confident of achieving it with a current growth rate of 18% annually.
