AP TEST Should your child take the AP Test? This is a case by case question… your student can talk to me to see what I would recommend Will it help them in college? Most of the time yes…if they study and do well When is the AP test this year? First day of the second week of testing Monday, May 8th at 8am

AP TEST When do they sign up? Sign-ups forms were just handed out in homeroom this past week. Registering is NEW this year – you have to pay through www.mypaymentsplus.com All registrations must by completed by Friday, March 18th Cost is $97.00 per test Letter on School Wires with directions on how to register

Structure of the Exam

Preparation for the Exam How should they prepare for the exam? Buy a Review Book – 5 steps to a 5 is a great one! Come to all the review sessions! Make sure to study between the end of the class and the exam (there are about 5 weeks of lag time!)

AP Scores How do the students usually score on the AP test? Usually very well! New exam as of 3 years ago Last year, 94% of students passed (scored a 3 or higher)  this was without any review from me! 2015 Scores Score on AP Exam Number of Students % of Total Students 1 0% 2 3 6% 24 49% 4 16 33% 5 6 12% Total # 49 100%
