CHALLENGES OF MODERN SOCIETY HEALTH, EDUCATION, MODERN SCIENCE, MANAGEMENT, etc have become the boons for a paradigm shift 1-30

SCIENCE IS IN A “TURNING POINT” FRITJOF CAPRA TO UNDERSTAND LIFE, MIND, INTELLECT EMOTIONS, CONSCIOUSNESS etc WE ARE TO MOVE TOWARDS INTRODUCING CONSCIOUSNESS 1-13

MATTER-BASED APPROACH CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE END PRODUCT MATTER IS PRIMARY 1-13

MATTER IS THE END PROJECT CONSCIOUSNESS-BASED APPROACH MATTER IS THE END PROJECT CONSCIOUSNESS IS PRIMARY 1-13

FIRST STEP: TO MOVE FROM MATTER-BASED APPROACH TOWARDS CONSCIOUSNESS-BASED APPROACH FIRST STEP: WE HAVE TO MOVE TOWARDS UNDERSTANDING BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS AND PRANA 1-13

CONCEPT OF PRANA according to 1. Modern Science 2. Yogic Science

Concept of Prana - LIFE - According to Science (Biology) FUNCTIONING OF - DNA RNA MOLECULES - GENES - CELLS - UNIT OF LIFE LOCOMOTION REPRODUCTION

1. EXTENSION OF CLASSICAL MECHANICS - NON LINEAR MECHANICS * PRIGOGINE * FRITJOF CAPRA

KEY CRITERIA OF LIVING SYSTEMS 1. PATTERN OF ORGANISATION The configuration of relationships that determines the system’s essential characteristics This is the unseen dimension of Prana which can be called as field of Prana with its memory stores, in a sense.

KEY CRITERIA OF LIVING SYSTEMS 2. STRUCTURE The physical embodiment of the system’s pattern of organization (The physical body)

3. LIFE PROCESS The activity involved in the continual embodiment of the system’s pattern of organisation P 156.. THE WEB OF LIFE FRITJOF CAPRA

STRUCTURE CONTINUAL INTERACTION PROCESS Through these interactions PATTERN STRUCTURE CONTINUAL INTERACTION PROCESS Through these interactions -memory store changes -learning (Updating of our software) -decision making …. [ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY]

INTELLIGENCE OR COGNITION FEATURES THE PROCESS OF LIFE COGNITION IS KNOWING and FEATURES CONSCIOUSNESS LIFE IS FEATURED BY CONSCIOUSNESS DIFFERENT FROM GROSS ENERGY OF THE PHYSICAL WORLD (Dead cell and a Living Cell) MIND

INTELLIGENCE OR COGNITION is not limited only to brain but extends to the whole of THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IMMUNE SYSTEM ENDOCRINE SYSTEM …….. THERE IS A SINGLE COGNITIVE NETWORK OF CONSCIOUSNESS THROUGHOUT THE BODY EACH AND EVERY CELL SHOWS INHERENT COGNITION OR INTELLIGENCE

GAIA PHENOMENON EARTH has life as she is dynamic having continual interactions has a structure has a pattern of organization -WEB OF LIFE

We always believed that this earth is not inert but has Prana and Consciousness She is Mother EARTH We worship her in her divine manifestations This is the basis for DEPTH ECOLOGY or Working in tune with nature

PROJECT ON SHIKHARINI (PYRAMIDS) (Yantras) Effect on the Germination of Fenugreek

TITLE: A Study on Effect of Shapes on Germination of Fenugreek (Pilot Study) OBJECTIVE: To find out the effect of Shapes related to its Material and Dimensions on the Germination of Fenugreek

MATERIALS: 1. Fenugreek Seeds 2. Shapes: Model Size (cm) Volume (cm3) Wooden Square Pyramid 77 X 77 X 59 2271.5 Fiber Glass Square Pyramid 31.5 X 31.5 X 20 315 Fiber Glass Octagonal Pyramid 11.5 X 11.5 X 19 Ply Wood Square Pyramid 1 Ply Wood Square Pyramid (Russian) 2 32 X 32 X 72.5 1160 3. Room Thermometer 4. Germination Paper 5. Plastic Sheet of 20 cm X 30 cm 6. Digital Camera

DESIGN: METHODS: Sample Size: 40 seeds placed between germination paper in 4 sets, in each model, each set for the measurement on Day 1, Day 3, Day 5 and Day 7. Total 6 trials has been conducted. Total 240 samples is used for each model.

Setting: Experiment is conducted by keeping all models in one room at the floor level. 1. Control – keeping sample in open air 2. Wooden Square Pyramid 3. Fiber Glass Square Pyramid 4. Fiber Glass Octagonal Pyramid 5. Ply Wood Square Pyramid 1 6. Ply Wood Square Pyramid (Russian) 2

Experimental Procedure: 4 sets of 40 samples each is placed between wetted germination paper and rolled and enveloped with plastic sheet and kept in plastic beaker and placed in the each model at the base level.

On Day 1. one set from each model including of control is taken out, the germination paper is opened and measured germination length, wet weight and dry weight. similarly for the other 3 sets on Day 3, 5 and 7.

ANALYSIS: 1. Germination Length a ANALYSIS: 1. Germination Length a. Calculated mean, standard deviation and % of change with respect to control on each set on each trial b. Average of mean and % of change is calculated of all the 6 trials. C. As per the statistical analysis the samples of all the sets of all the models are not normally distributed. So non parametric tests Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests were used which showed statistical significance (p<0.001)

2. Wet and Dry weight. a. Calculated % of change in wet and dry weight with respect to control on each set for each trial b. Calculated average of % change in wet and dry weight for all the 6 trials.
