Having a Degree is important Donna Khoshbou

Graduating high school Getting a high school diploma is the smallest step one needs to take to get a good job as an adult It is the easiest step in furthering your education and also helps you to get a higher salary

Graduating college Having a college degree is critical to find a well paying job. A lot of jobs now need high skilled workers to complete their jobs, which is someone with a college degree. Statistics from 2013 show that people with a college degree get $17,000 more than people with a high school diploma

Reviewing the chart The chart on the previous slide shows how getting a degree also affects the unemployment rate. As your education rises, the unemployment rate decreases. Overall, the unemployment rate has decreased recently because more people are graduating high school and getting a degree.

Millennial earnings The chart shows that more people now are going to college and getting their degrees You can tell because the wages are higher now than before the era of the Mellennials

Conclusion Overall, graduating from high school and getting a college degree is the best option to have a high paying job in the future. You can still get a higher paying job with a high school diploma than without one Getting a college degree will get you an even higher paying job than with just a high school diploma.
