Features of the room. ITS/CC/CS/AV Standard Classroom Features of the room. ITS/CC/CS/AV

Turn on the lights

Put the screen down

Turn on the computer

Turn whiteboard light off; Choose A/V mode if desired and adjust dimmer for brightness of lights

Push Power ON and choose Computer input button

It will look like this after the projector warms up

You will see the log on instructions on the local monitor and the projection screen

If you wish to use your domain account hit switch user and enter your log on and password. Or you can use the generic login staff with the password staff. This is only for the teacher station computer.

The present configuration of the Standard Classroom has several inputs for different things. Laptop ; Document Camera; Video; VCR; DVD; HDMI( which doesn’t have integrated audio) and Ipod.

Turn the document camera on

Choose Document Camera Input

Place the document on the platform Then Zoom in

If it is out of focus press the Orange button on the end of the zoom knob and you will see it come in to focus. This will be on the local monitor and the projection screen.

This is the volume control for sources.

CC is closed captions if you are using the vcr. Mute CC is closed captions if you are using the vcr. Mute ..is for audio, blank is for video aspect changes the size and shape of the source on the screen (usually you don’t need to push this button.

To shut down.. Shut down the computer then …

Push the power off button.

Put up the screen

Turn the lights out when you leave and lock the door.

If you have issues with the equipment call my extension 7225 and I will attempt to help you, or if it is outside my working hours, call 1715 ITS Help desk and report the problem. They will generate a trouble ticket on it and send it to me.
