Great Marsden St John's 'Pick and Mix' Homework Year R - Spring Term 1 ‘Up In Space’ This 'Pick and Mix' homework is for the whole half term. Red Boxes need to be completed regularly each week. Reading Try to read your home reader 3 times a week. Look at the pictures and talk about what happens. Try to spot the sounds we have been learning together. Think about going on a trip to space. Practice drawing and recognising the different planets in our solar system and create a poster. What are their names and what order are they in? Return by 18.1.17 Physical Development Practice dribbling and controlling a ball with your feet, try different sized balls. Start with short distances and increase distance and speed as you get more confident Make a Paper Mache planet: Blow up a balloon and Paper Mache all around it. Once dry pop the balloon inside and paint your planet.
