Presentation transcript:

Great Marsden St John's 'Pick and Mix' Homework Year R - Spring Term 1 ‘Up In Space’ This 'Pick and Mix' homework is for the whole half term. Red Boxes need to be completed regularly each week. Yellow Boxes must be done at some point during the half term. Challenge yourself to the Green Box activities. These do not have to be done, but if you want to push yourself, that would be super! Reading Try to read your home reader 3 times a week. Look at the pictures and talk about what happens. Try to spot the sounds we have been learning together. Think about going on a trip to space. What would you take with you? Write a list in your learning logs for all the things you would take. Return by 11.1.17 The Empty Box! You can do anything you like; a presentation on something that interests you; write about something you have done - the choice is yours... Think about Space!! Practice drawing and recognising the different planets in our solar system and create a poster. What are their names and what order are they in? Return by 18.1.17 Physical Development Practice dribbling and controlling a ball with your feet, try different sized balls. Start with short distances and increase distance and speed as you get more confident Make a Paper Mache planet: Blow up a balloon and Paper Mache all around it. Once dry pop the balloon inside and paint your planet.
