Mobile Platform To Improve The Health Of Kids, Teens, And Families -In November 2015, researchers at Duke University published a study in the journal Obesity, that showed weight loss apps don’t work; we agree with them. -We set out to develop something that does work. For more than two years we have focused on building an integrated Mobile App and Personalized coaching platform, designed specifically to help kids, teens and their families live healthy lives. -By combining, responsive motivational coaching and creating an environment of family support, we have discovered the winning formula- Kurbo Health! -How did it all start? Thank you for letting me share with you today, the amazing Kurbo story….

-Joanna Strober, Kurbo’s CEO and Co-Founder had a need that so many working parents have as well-to teach kids healthy habits that suit their lifestyle; not many great options, so she founded Kurbo Health. -With the help of friends, Joanna discovered a 30 year successful program at Stanford’s University Pediatric Hospital. Joanna and her co-founders licensed the program from Stanford and digitized it, utilizing some of the best weight loss research from Stanford and technology talent in the Silicon Valley. -The result is a very user friendly app, quality coaching and robust backend platform. Through these three elements, we can monitor intake and activity detail to serve as basis for coaching and reporting indications of progress for participants and organizations. -Meet Kurbo Health, designed for families by families, used by families; delivers for families!   Kurbo Story
