HOW TO CHARTER NEW CLUBS Use available Personnel - New Club Consultants - Other Experienced Lions within District, including Certified Guiding Lions (CGL) - GLOBAL ACTION TEAM (INCL GMT MD Team) Use available Resources - District 3 Year Membership Growth Plan - Community Needs Assessment - Invite Key Community Leaders - Modern Technology

When to Charter As soon as opportunity arises - Do Not Procrastinate - Persistence Pays - When 20 New Members Inducted (including any Transfer Members) - LCI requirement (within 8 weeks of NCC Workshop) Consider a Club Branch - For small Special Interest Groups - When unable to induct Min 20 Charter Members

The Future of our New Clubs New Clubs will need assistance with:- - Club Administrative Procedures (Sponsoring Club, CGL, My Club My Way, Zone & District) - New and Innovative Projects that meet Community Needs, including Project Management Training ( GST) - On-going Membership Growth Initiatives (GMT) - Leadership Training, Mentoring (GLT)
