Web Upgrade Preparation Guide SAMPro 9.1 Web Upgrade Preparation Guide
SAMPro 9.1 and Future SAMPro Version 9.1 provides several new .NET web applications that support and streamline SAMPro’s back office capabilities. Current SAMPro 9.1 and future SAMPro 9.X back office versions will continue to run on the same development platform as it has in years past. The upgrade to SAMPro 9.1 brings new features and a shift in development towards web-based additions and alternatives to the modules of the SAMPro Enterprise Software. To support the new features, SAMPro 9.1 mandates a new set of minimum software and hardware requirements. Starting with the release of SAMPro version 9.1, IIS will need to be installed to support these features. Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows® Server is a flexible, secure and manageable Web Server.
SAMPro 9.1 Upgrade Options Your firm may choose the following upgrade paths: Option 1: Upgrade to SAMPro 9.1 and the new web applications at the same time. Option 2: Upgrade to SAMPro 9.1 first, upgrade the new web applications at a later date. Option 3: Upgrade to SAMPro 9.1 without the new web applications. - If CRMAnywhere is installed at your firm, you must go down the path of Option 1. - With Options 2 or 3, the existing Java versions of DBAnalytics & FMAnywhere will continue to be supported.
