“Optical fidelity at its best!” #1 Network Camera Film.. “Optical fidelity at its best!” Since 1974, #1 Network has focused the collective resources of its individual stockholder dealers on a mission of creating the industry's most impressive product portfolio. Today, #1 Network is clearly America’s fastest growing BRAND. #1 Network brand technologies represent the most advanced and comprehensive portfolio of “High Performance” consumable products. #1 Network products include, but are not limited to: The industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of Inkjet substrates. A wide range of “advanced” Printing Plate Technologies. “Total solution” Press Room Products. The Industry’s Premier Portfolio of “High Performance” Graphic Arts Films! #1 Network’s extensive portfolio of products are carefully designed to maximize production performance, quality and purchasing “value”. #1 Network products are represented by local #1 Network dealers. With nationwide member branches, #1 Network dealers constitute the industry’s largest distribution channel and the nation’s largest “local” technical field force. Through frequent benchmark evaluations and research programs, #1 Network seeks to continually perfect the #1 Network Brand portfolio to set new industry standards. Product formulas and designs are amplified by intellectual properties in areas which may include, but are not limited to, emulsion specifications, improved substrates, unique finishing techniques, and proprietary process performance enhancements. #1 Network’s exclusive dedicated “world class” manufacturing facility is augmented by partnerships with carefully selected premier “outsource” production facilities. #1 Network Brand films, Inkjet substrates and Printing Plate emulsions are coated internationally in the world’s premier, “state of the art” Master Coating facilities! #1 Network, Inc., P.O. #1 Network Camera Films “Optical fidelity at its best!” Camera films represent an important segment of #1 Network’s film portfolio. While some brands have “rationalized” their camera films down to a few films with a “one-size fits all” approach, #1 Network has continuously enhanced its camera film portfolio. The choice of a few camera films might be fine for some customers, but #1 Network clients deserve better! After all, designing any good camera film is a complex task. Designing one film that meets every customer’s individual needs is an impossible task. In the quest to manufacture great camera films, our product specialists balance the optimum exposure speed, the fineness of the silver grain and the optimum contrast, attributes which impact acuity and resolution. Once we have determined just the right combination, there are still many more important feature “trade-offs” to consider: What is the optimum emulsion color sensitivity for the expected application? High blue color sensitivity can sharpen a film’s apparent resolution, but the tradeoff, for example, is slower exposure speeds on quartz cameras. Faster emulsion speeds can improve productivity, but may shorten safelight tolerances. DH “Diamond Hard” * surfaces reduce processing and handling artifacts, but result in lower “practical” densities. Hard Dot films enhance contrast, but may require dedicated developers and higher replenishment rates. #1 Network Rapid Access Films: “Open System” @ 1:3 or 1:4 dilution # 470HP Premium All Purpose RA News 10 Exposure: Moderate Surface: DH * Contrast: Practical D-Max 4.20 Superior Grain Safelight tolerance: Excellent #1 Network “Hard Dot” Films: Processed in “dedicated” developers @ 1:2 dilution # 420HP Premium High Speed HD News 42 Exposure: High Speed Surface: DH * Contrast: Practical D-Max 4.80 Fine Grain Safelight tolerance: Very Good # 320HP Premium Super Speed HD News 32 Exposure: Super Speed Contrast: Practical D-Max 5.00 Fine Grain Safelight tolerance: Good Note: The performance of most films are enhanced when processed in the recommended #1 Network developers. “#1 Network guarantees that all #1 Network Films, Printing Plates, and Inkjet substrates will equal or outperform every other brand of equivalent product made anywhere on the planet, when exposed, processed or utilized according to published #1 Network recommendations. If any of these products fail to perform to the customer’s satisfaction, they may return the unused portion for a full refund. “
