Context: Heaven's Glory coming to earth Glory is often used as a synonym of Heaven, however in the Apostle Paul’s mind, thinking as a leading Jewish theologian of the day, he would have been thinking about: Isaiah 40(5) ]Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Habakkuk 2(14) “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD. As the waters cover the sea. Psalms 72 (18-19)  blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.19 and blessed be His glorious name forever; and may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. The Family of God is Destined to Bless the Earth Gen 22(16-18)  and said, “By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your *seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”  (The Akedah –binding) Gen 28 (14b) and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

God's Glory is Restored to the Earth through "the Christ." Romans 8(18-21) For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to *corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
