Our primary vehicle to ‘Reach and transform our town with the love of Jesus’ are our Mission Area Teams (MATs) High Street FLAME Gamesley Whitfield Breeze St Luke’s Area Shirebrook? St Luke’s Church Whitfield Parish

MATs are groups of between 10-20 people who commit to reaching and transforming an area of our town with the love of Jesus. How? Prayer Acts of service and community gathering Words of Jesus Works of Jesus Wounds of Jesus Way of Jesus ‘Low control – High accountability’ St Luke’s Church Whitfield Parish

But…there is still a place for the ‘temple’ in a ‘mixed economy’ St Luke’s Church Whitfield Parish

Why? To have a more welcoming and flexible space for church and community to widen the scope of who we welcome into the building and the amount and style of church activity we can host Increase our opportunity to meet and make 21st century disciples of Jesus through our building St Luke’s Church Whitfield Parish
