What Is The HEART?? The Bible speaks of The HEART as the Center, “It Is The Wellspring Of Life” (Proverbs 4:23; Luke 6:45) Biblically the HEART may been seen as containing the totality of one’s Intellect, Emotions, and Human Will.

It’s a HEART Thang!!! Jeremiah 17:9-10 (KJV) “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NIV) “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? "I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Above All It is Desperately EVIL AND CORRUPT! It’s a HEART Thang!!! The HEART is the inner being of a person that includes ones desires, feelings and thoughts. Above All It is Desperately EVIL AND CORRUPT!

Jeremiah 24:7 “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord Jeremiah 24:7 “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart” Ezekiel 11:19-20 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.” Mark 7:20-23 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” IT’S A HEART THANG!!

The HEART Is The Center Of The Human Will The Hardened HEART that refuses to do what God Commands (Exodus 4:21) The HEART that is yielded to God (Joshua 24:23) The HEART That extends to do something (2 Chronicles 6:7) The HEART that is devoted to Seeking The Lord (1 Chronicles 22:19) The HEART that decides (2 Chronicles 6:7) The HEART that desires to receive from the Lord (Psalms 21:1-2) The HEART that is turned towards God’s Statues (Psalms 119:36) The HEART That wants to do something (Romans 10:1) *All Of These Activities takes place in the Human Will

The HEART ♥ “Circumcision Of The Heart”

What Is Circumcision Of The Heart?? The Idea Of “Circumcision Of The HEART” is found in Romans 2:29. It Refers to having a Pure Heart Separated unto God

It’s a HEART Thang!!! Romans 2:28-29 (KJV) For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:28-29(NIV) A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

It’s a HEART Thang!!! Holy Living becomes the outward sign that we are under the New Covenant.

IT’S A HEART THANG!! Jeremiah 4:4 states…. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, circumcise your hearts, you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, or my wrath will flare up and burn like fire because of the evil you have done burn with no one to quench it. We Must be Open to the Conviction of The HOLY SPIRIT, Repent Of Our Sins and Break up the Hardened Soil Of HEART! IT’S A HEART THANG!!

Isaiah 29:13-16 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips,  but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. Therefore once more I will astound these people  with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish. "Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know? "You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, "You did not make me"? Can the pot say to the potter, "You know nothing”? The Evil in Our HEARTS must be removed as surely as the Foreskin was removed in Physical Circumcision IT’S A HEART THANG!!

It’s a HEART Thang!!! People Praise and Honor God with their lips while having no real love for God or His Righteous Precepts

Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel 11:19 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. IT’S A HEART THANG!!

It’s a HEART Thang!!! Apart from the Indwelling of The HOLY SPIRIT, It is impossible for a person to have true life and to follow God’s Ways It is Essential that we remain open to the voice and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT

It’s a HEART Thang!!! Hebrews 3:7-15 “So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, where your ancestors tested and tried me, though for forty years they saw what I did. That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways. 'So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.’ ” See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.  As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”
