Grading Policy FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS: 40% of your total grade. Homework Quizzes Unit Quizzes SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS: 50% of your total grade.  Unit Tests Midterm & Final ASSIGNMENTS: 10% of your total grade.  In-class Activities, Tasks, and Practice Worksheets Students cannot earn a grade lower than 50% (F) on any Assessment or Assignment.

Homework 5 nights a week About 10-20 minutes per night Show all work Homework assignments and keys on class website Progress checked with Homework Quizzes. Homework quizzes may be taken multiple times before the end of the unit.

Success Indicators Behaviors that contribute to positive learning and individual success. Reported separately from student’s letter grade. Supporting Your Student! Ask your student to explain what they are doing in math class. Send your student to school with math materials. Supply a good place and time to study. Check your student’s work with the online answer keys (on my website). Check Family Access often to monitor student progress. Review Class website.
