^-^How to survive 6th grade^-^ By: Alyssa Michelle Torres Former 7th grader

Remember have a great year and remember how to Survive!!!

How to be a successful 6th grader Always do your homework and never turn it in late. Also be prepared for anything like the CRCT. Be organized where its easier to find your work. Never forget anything in your locker. Have mechanical or wooden pencils that have lead or be sharpened.

O-o Cause & Effect O-o If you’re talking when the teacher is talking, you will get lunch detention. If you turn in your work earlier than you might get an award. If you have good grades, you might have a chance for honors program. If you chew gum, you will get in big trouble. If you’re caught texting in class, you’ll go to the back office.

Problems & Solution Well in 6th grade your body changes along the way. There will be so much more drama in 6th grade than 5th. There’ll be more people in school because of other schools. There will boys that like you and you might end up in a relationship with them. Don’t even be scared about being locked in a locker because you might not even be small enough.

Anecdote In my personal experience when I was in class and didn’t do my work. I would always try do my work at home. So if you don’t do you homework you will get lunch detention. So everyone of you should always do you homework. Of course I am good at my homework I always do my homework. So ya’ll should always do it.

Compare & Contrast 5th Top of school No teams Babied Less work Lunch choice 4 periods 6th Bottom of school No Recess Snack ‘n’ Chat Salad bar 6 periods NOT babied

My life as a 6th grader This year has been a great year I’ve made so many new friends, good grades, and there has been so much drama I can’t even explain. I’ve meet awesome teachers and my three principals. Yes, we have projects but they will be fun if you get Mrs. Meza but even if you don’t it’ll still be fun.

Choir I am a good singer. Mrs. Walton is the best chorus teacher ever. I wish I could sing like her in so many ways. She is nice and she even knows how to handle with kids because, she has 3 kids of her own.
