Bid Submissions Electronic Bids Hard Copy Bids NOTE COOLNet Alberta: coolnetalberta.com Hard Copy Bids NOTE Modifications / withdrawals must be completed in the same format as the original submission. In the event a bidder submits an electronic and a hard copy version, only the electronic bid will be accepted.
Bid Results and Notifications A public bid opening will be held. All bidders are invited to attend. Bid results and award information will be available on Alberta Purchasing Connection. Opening and result notification for Invitational Tenders will be provided by the Project Manager.

FOIP Act Contractors providing services for public bodies must follow FOIP rules Records about the services provided, not about the contractor’s own operations. Follow same rules for collecting, using, and disclosing personal information that a public body would have to follow. Retrieve and provide records to the public body within a few days. Progressive Release of Holdback Upon application, holdback funds will be released once the portion of the work is complete AI verify substantial performance After 45 day period, contractor applies for release as part of next progress claim Warranty still from date of Interim Acceptance
Contract Close Out Collaborated with the Alberta Construction Association Timely delivery of contract close out documents (O & M Manuals, Record Drawings) Improvements to contractual specifications: Mark-up drawings to be a standing agenda item for Progress Meetings Contractor to include each Close-out Procedure activity in the Project Schedule and Project Meetings A payment condition percentage will be applied on a sliding scale based on project dollar value
