Demographics of youth completing an intake

Demographics of youth persisting in a program

Intake and placement flow since February 2015 Completed intake: 366 227 continued to work with a coach to apply to a program 21 are actively working with coach to identify program and have not yet applied 206 applied to a program 138 started a program 95 persisted in a program 28 are still enrolled in their programs 27 have completed a program 40 have been placed in a job through AACA (12 of which are also in an education or training program)

27 Completions 12 students completed college bridging and enrolled in college, one of which completed the CNA program at Bunker Hill Community College 1 other youth completed the CNA program at Bunker Hill Community College 2 youth completed Resilient Coders 2 students completed college bridging courses and are planning their next steps 10 youth completed training programs: 2 completed the Asian American Civic Association’s Banking and Finance training program 1 completed BEST Corp’s hospitality program 1 completed JVS’ CNA program 2 completed JVS’ Pharmacy Technician program 1 completed YearUp 1 completed YouthBuild 1 youth completed YMCA Medical Office training 1 youth completed the Kroc Center’s Culinary Arts Program

Training program outcomes AACA Banking and Finance completers were both hired as bank tellers, one with Bank of America earning $14 an hour and one with Eastern Bank earning $16 an hour BEST Corp Hospitality Training Center completer was hired by Aloft Hotel as a room attendant earning $20 an hour, with health benefits JVS CNA completer was hired as a CNA with Benchmark, earning $12.36 an hour, with benefits JVS PharmTech completers were hired as pharmacy technicians with CVS and Walgreens, earning $11 and $12.50 an hour

Training program outcomes YearUp completer was hired for a temporary contract as a help desk technician at RCC making $18 an hour, and is applying for full-time positions One Resilient Coder completer was hired for a part-time internship to design a website for a nonprofit partner organization, making $20 an hour YouthBuild completer was hired by Shawnee Construction as a temporary employee making $15 an hour, and is now a full-time permanent employee making $17 an hour
