School-wide Behavior Expectations for ALL Students What does good behavior look like: On the playground? When arriving to school? When leaving? In the hallways? On the bus? In the bathrooms? In the LRC? The computer lab? During Assemblies? In the lunchroom?

Attendance District 45 believes that attendance is a key factor in student achievement and success in education. Attendance is the responsibility of parent/guardian, the student and the school. Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to learn by 8:15am.

Communication Process If a concern arises, here is the proper chain you should follow: 1. Teacher-by phone or email 2. Principal or Asst. Principal 516-6500 3. Superintendent (Mr. Palmisano) 516-7700

Communication Process If a step in the “chain of command” is skipped or missed, you will be referred back to the person in the previous step. This ensures concerns are dealt with at the most direct level for the student. When all solutions fail, please move on to the next level of district faculty.

PTA Joining the PTA does not obligate you to volunteer or participate in activities, but please consider volunteering to help out in the LRC, the classrooms, or at Family Events. Dues and fundraising money go towards many school projects such as assemblies, field day, book fair, and family events.
