Abstract: The term multimedia means the showing way of the specific content while using text, images, sounds, videos and animation. Multimedia contents displayed the best and most interesting that can be transmitted and understood by humans. This material covered is a brief explanation of the elements of multimedia, text, pictures and sound, and are explained and notions of raster and vector grafika.Whith appropriate programs we indicate the use of these types of graphics.

Content: 1. Text; 2. Peacture; 3. Sound; 4 Content: 1. Text; 2. Peacture; 3. Sound; 4. Raster graphics; - programs for raster graphics 5.Vektor graphics; - programs for vector graphics

1. Text serif fontovi- when the content to be printed Text- characters, characters with visual characteristics of shape, size and style defined font serif fontovi- when the content to be printed besserifni font-when content is presented on a monitor or projector examples

Text formatting - font size -formating text: different artistic fonts, underlining, setting shadow, setting effects: static and dynamic effects - hypertext - link to other text in the same document but to another position or page to another document or document internet

2. Picture The picture presented in multimedia such as drawing, painting or photography, presented alone or part of an animation or video. Convert the image from analogue to digital form through input devices: a scanner, digital camera, video camera, cell phone and more. Graphic image formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, SVG, PSD, ODG, CDR and others. Pikseli- grid of dots carrying information about the color-coded image. Clustered in regions with 8 pixels in width and height. Each pixel is represented by 8 bits.

3.Sound Sound-essential element in multimedia that can be instrumental or voice recording or a combination of them Recording and reproduction of sound in multimedia computer is needed: sound card, microphone, software for digitizing audio speakers, headphones ... Getting a sound converting sound wave first electric size using the microphone, then converting to digital, binary recording

conversion sound card analog audio signals to digital and back Three jacks on the sound card: Line input that connects to the audio source, microphone input coupling microphone and audio output devices that are connected to sound reproduction: headphones, speakers and more.

4. Raster graphics Raster image called bitmap and pixel points (dots) Raster graphics - drawing with the help of a mosaic of pixels, each pixel in a hundred carries color information representing Raster image called bitmap and pixel points (dots) Image resolution - the number of pixels in each inch-dpi (dots per inch) Higher resolution, higher image quality. The number of pixels representing it depends on the image size and image quality

Changing dimension of a raster image Increasing of the raster image is achieved by increasing the pixel or by adding new pixels and reduce of the image by subtracting pixels When the resolution is increased by hand with a program, the program adds arbitrary pixel which increases image resolution, but reduces image quality

Programs to create raster graphics Corel Photo Paint Picasa Adobe Photoshop Gimp GNU Paint

5. Vector graphics Vector - a segment which has a length and direction; Vector graphics - a way of drawing using vectors, which can be constructed vector objects (shapes). The programs for vector graphics each line is represented by three data- length, direction and color of the line, and if you create an object has fourth data-color fulfillment of the facility;

Changing dimension vector graphics In each drawing vector graphics is obtained by drawing objects and lines derived from mathematical formulas between the start and end points and points in between. By increasing or decreasing the image quality does not change, because they are obtained by recalculation of mathematical formulas, not by deleting or adding pixel Chance of vector programs to save the image under raster and vector format under Record

Programs for creating vector graphics Inkscape Corel Draw Xara X Adobe Ilustrator Open Office.org.Draw Freehand

File formats that use raster and vector graphics file type Image type TIFF (Tagget Image File Format) .TIFF raster GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) .GIF JPEG .JPG Windows bitmap .BMP Windows Metafile . WMF vector Encapsulated PostScript .EPS Corel Draw .CDR Photo Shop .PSD Gimp .XCF Open Office.org Draw .ODG Inkscape .SVG
