Are a LOGO and a BRAND the same thing? 3D Logos /Symbols Are a LOGO and a BRAND the same thing?

There is a BIG Difference !!! A Brand is: the big picture public image of a company and/or product based on such things as: -product quality, service quality, how the product is made (fair-trade vs. sweatshop), what it is made of (organic vs. synthetic or geneticly modified), dress code of employees, aesthetic of facilities, news reports and articles on the company, personal experience with the company, the inspiration (or not) of the logo, and more. A Logo is: a quick way for your brain to recognize and recall a brand. It is usually a symbol, uniquely scribed word or letters, or a combination of both. Summed up: A logo is a small (albeit important) part of a brand.

Which is a Brand, a Logo, and/or a Symbol?

PHYSICAL SHAPE REQUIRMENTS Has to be a semi complicated shape (more then a simple circle, oval, etc) All in one overall Form Symbol / Letters all have to be recognizable for what they are (readable if letters) With an Interesting overall Composition

DECORATIVE REQUIRMENTS Front Needs to be Decorated Back should be the inverse Think of a color scheme that fits your theme / brand and limit yourself to 3 or fewer colors. You will be gluing the sides with colored tissue paper You will do the front and back with cut construction paper DECORATIVE REQUIRMENTS
