MAGNETIZING ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT 800V, 1200A

Repeating cycle rate of magnetizing : 3 sec Application: Magnetizing of neutral permanent magnetic material in the parts Installed into the continuous working production line Repeating cycle rate of magnetizing : 3 sec

Short description of operation: - Input voltage: 3x400V AC , 50/60Hz - This voltage is rectified by a three-phase bridge-diode - The output voltage is modified and transformed into high frequency (20-30kHz) - Capacitance of capacitor field: 20-50 mF. - Voltage of capacitors up to 800V DC If the voltage of capacitors reaches the pre-adjusted value – managed by the operator with a potentiometer - it will be transferred to the magnetizing coil. In the magnetizing coil is going to be generated a current (300 ÷ 1200A) and this current generates a magnetic field in the coil and the neutral magnetic material placed into the gap of this coil will be magnetized.

magnetizing electrIcAL-ELECTRONIC equipment installed into production line:

Inside view of the magnetizing Main electric data: Supply voltage: 3x400V, 50Hz +N+PE Sensitivity: 0,03 A Peek current from the supply: max. 25 A Peek power from the supply: max. 14 kW Maximum voltage of the capacitor field: 850 V DC Values of voltage of capacitor field are adjustable between: 150-850 V DC (Adjusting potentiometer on the control panel) Max. repeating rate of magnetizing: In case of 600V DC capacitor voltage: 20 magnetizing cycles/minute (magnetizing every 3 seconds) Capacitance of capacitor field: 30 mF   Dimensions of the equipment: width: 800 mm lenght: 600 mm heigth: 2000 mm Weight: 180 kg. Inside view of the magnetizing equipment:

Magnetizing cycle showed by oscilloscope diagram: Horizontal axis: time scale =0,025 sec/square Vertical axis – green colour: voltage scale capacitor field =100 V/square Vertical axis – blue colour: magnetizing current: 250 A/square The diagram shows: -After switching on the thyristor SCR the voltage of capacitors decreases from 485V to 0V within 0,028 sec -Peek value of magnetizing current:: 875A. -Peek value of magnetizing current grows up within 0,025 sec after switching on the thyristor SCR The magnetizing current decreases within approx. 0,2 sec to 0V.

Oscilloscope diagram in case of continuous working: - In case of 684 V capacitor voltage it is possible to do magnetizing cycles approx. every 3 seconds. - In case of lower voltage the magnetizing cycle rate could be increased.
