How to produce Isometric drawings

For this activity you are going to need: A sharp pencil A ruler A protractor

Tip: When creating an isometric drawing remember 30 degrees:

Start by drawing a straight line

Draw a straight line upwards at 90 degrees. Draw your lines faintly

Draw 2 lines each at 30 degrees Continue to draw your lines faintly

Measure 100mm along the straight line and make a small cross.

Continue to draw your lines faintly From your cross, using your protractor draw 2 more lines at 30 degrees. Continue to draw your lines faintly

Measure 80mm as shown and make 2 straight lines.

Making sure your lines are 90 degrees, draw 2 lines straight up.

Place your protractor on the top left corner and construct a 30 degree line as shown.

Complete your cube, as shown.

Draw over your faint lines, you are looking to make them bold.
