The Goal of AAPBS Case Center To facilitate the development and distribution of high quality cases among AAPBS member universities. Notion of “Asia-Pacific cases, by Asia-Pacific, for Asia- Pacific How to achieve the goal?

Establishment of Government Committee First committee meeting held on August 15, 2012 at HKUST where terms of reference for the committee and the center were discussed Currently consists of seven committee members from six AAPBS member schools: HKUST, KAIST, AIM, University of Auckland, Keio University, and Sasin Three Sub-Committees were established to work on the detailed Budget, Case standards, and Workshops guidelines.

Role of HKUST Business School First hosting school Term of service: 3-5 years Contribute up to US$50,000 annually Funds from AAPBS

Quality Control of Submitted Cases By professionals By peer review By organizing roundtable events where submitted cases are discussed by peers Potential collaboration with NACRA, Harvard, Darden, Richard Ivey, ECCH, Global Lence etc.

Case Teaching and Writing Workshops There will be three sets of workshops with different levels (teaching + writing) in 2013 at KAIST, AIM and University Auckland respectively. 2014: one set in HKUST, one set in a Thai School and one set a Japanese School. 2015: one in India, one in Australia and one in China.

Case Distribution Free distribution for AAPBS member schools For non members, distribute through Harvard, ECCH, Globalens, etc
